ok.
last year I hired a nightclub and held a big halloween party night, sold tickets and everyone had a blast. nothing like this usually happens here in the uk so I think Im onto something here ;-)
this year I want to do it again. found a fantastic venue (if the buggers email me back and say yes!!)
this years theme....
The Monsters Ball - The Mark of The Beast.
as people arrive they will have their tickets taken from them by the 2 very curious looking door attendants, and will be given a stamp on their arm as proof of payment/entry. BUT. 4/6/8 guests, entirely at random will have a slightly different design of stamp than everyone else.....they will have been 'marked by the beast'.
the difference will be so slight that no one will even notice untill the host makes himself known and informs the party of this.
the (un)lucky revelers will be brought forward and be given the opportunity to win prizes by fulfilling/winning a challenge...something gruesome (havent got that figured out yet).
but heres where i need help with my idea.
how do you make a customised stamp?
what image could i use for the stamp?
what challenge could i set them?
how do i randomize who gets 'marked'
all help and ideas are appreciated.
heres the poster with the imagery Im going to use.Its not the finished article but will give you an idea.

Not sure how to 'make' your own stamp, but I'm sure you can find a website that makes custom stamps. As far as a stamp image, maybe one can be a vampire bite and the 'chosen ones' could be a vampire bite with blood drips. Depending on how many people you want to take part in this challenge, I suggest just stamping the chosen ones at every 10 or 20 guests. Your door attendants just need to keep track.

I know Michaels and Hobby Lobby have stamps in the scrap booking section. You could probably find something similar that would work. I don't think people really pay much attention to what's being stamped on them when they enter so if you used a Frankenstein one and then a mummy one I don't think they would even question why theirs is different from someone else's.
As far as them having them do something for prizes you could always go the old Fear Factor route: eat a bug,or a cow tongue, drink something totally disgusting, or you could have them do stuff like on" A Minute to Win It"
Sounds like fun

Could you use black light ink and just stamp the "winners" with 666 ? Nobody can see the stamped image until it's under a black light. Everybody else can just have random number stamps. Of course, you'll have to make sure there's a black light at the entrance so people will have to be checked before the re-enter the party.

thoughts on this one.
here in the uk RealRadio have a game once a year. An unknown 'fugative' is out n about anywhere in Scotland. he calls into the show and leaves criptic clues as to his location. he also leaves calling cards in all the places hes been to let people know theyve missed him. people are encouraged to go out into the street and grab any random person and have to specifically say the phrase "are you the real radio fugative". the prize is literary thousands of pounds. the whole country goes crazy for it.
i thought I could have 1 person planted at my party who would have a mark on him, say 666 in invisible ink, maybe on their forehead, only viewable under a black light. then it would be anounced that someone in the party has been 'marked by the beast' and everyone has to go around untill the marked person is found. that person would then have the chance to win a worthy prize in a fear factor style game.
thoughts?
