Witches kitchen. We did our kitchen a couple years back and got SO much positive feedback from it. Feel free to take a peak at my profile for pics. We are adding a stirring witch prop this year and actually relocating the whole thing, so it's going to get a redesign whether I want to or not.
Go crazy on the little details. Black cats, bottles full of strange ingredients, old dusty tomes with creepy titles, bats flying around the room.Men of broader intellect know that there is no sharp distinction betwixt the real and the unreal...

you can always check out her site, good ideas, as far as the whole house, every room could have sort of it's own mini theme, kitchen is self explanatory, living room could be cats, creepy candles, spiders and webs, dirtied up so to speak, witches could also have a cemetery near, with ghosts they have called up, etc. will think more

If its a tea party, you need to have a teapot & tea cups! Go buy a set from a thrift store & paint them with spider webs!! Use one of those black plastic cauldrons for cookies or snacks.
Great, thanks bethene....another blog for me to spend hours perusing !! LOL!

Broom parking outside the house would be fun. Either something like an umbrella holder with a sign; or a stand with teathers you can tie your broom to for those brooms that just can't stay in one place. You could hang pictures of iconic witches up on the walls in thrift store frames.
And 'finger' foods would be a great addition for a tea party.

I've always liked wicked witches with flaming pumpkin props, like that of head horseman!
but I guess that's not very tea party... HmmmScreaming Scarecrow's Home Haunt Halloween Decorations & Props

I had my kitchen and den dedicated to witches last year. You can do a seance/black magic room. I had a Ouija board, candles, astrology charts and an alter.. I have found a great idea for window treatments. Check out my albums.. You use black trash bags..
The broom parking idea is really cute! I like it!
