    im looking for ideas on how to decorate ceiling fans. seems i have one in just about every room in the house.
    of coarse there is the lovely moss to hang from them, but what else ?

    try making them look like spinning cleaver blades. I would recommend this tutorial I just found on this site. Safe foamcore meat cleaver.

    2011 will be our 8th year and After having several outrageous Halloween Parties, we know that we will never get an invite to anyone else's party. So we keep throwing our own!

    I used fishing line and tied plastic washers covered with white cloth to resemble ghosts and hung them off the fan so that they spun when the fan was on. My guests would dodge the ghosts as they spun and glowed in the black light. I had only one problem, I heard some of my guests laughing hysterically and as I entered the room, I saw VuDu, my white dog (as seen in my avatar) jumping up and picking off the ghosts one at a time!

    Something I did last year was to clip those mini led spot lights to each fan blade. That way, when they spun...it was REALLY a party!
    Didn't look half bad...kinda cool effect actually.

    @ BunnyMummy... I LOVE the tutorial on the cleaver! THANKS! its also perfect for making the bloody cutting board prop as well. or even to make one for chasing my guests around with hehehe... looks so real!!!!!
