so my 5Th wedding anniversary is coming up this Oct . ( we had a Halloween wedding ) so we are having a party . i thought it would be fun to have it be a themed vampire / monster ball . i found these really great vampire costumes not only for myself and my husband but for our 3 yr. old son and 1 yr old daughter that all match.

i would like to have the invites reflect the theme with out using to many vampire punts. i am having a hard time with this HELP .

Okay, so nobody has bitten on this one yet, so I will throw out my idea and maybe others can come up with better...

I always liked those gothic looking invitations, with the weather-worn paper with burnt edges and calligraphy-styled handwriting sealed neatly within a black envelope with an old-style blood red wax seal. On the inside it could read something like- Five years ago, our souls were forever bound. On [date and time] we request your presence at [address] as we celebrate our fifth year of immortal love.

As far as having your guests wear costumes, which I am assuming you're planning on?, all I can think of is something like "Humanless attire encouraged"

Well I have to say I think that wording is simply perfect especially for someone who was just throwing something out there I think you said everything that needs to be said and gave it a nice gothic feel without making it too campy. Goodluck with the invites and dont forget to show us the final product.
Linus: You've heard about fury and a woman scorned?
Charlie Brown: Yes, I guess I have.
Linus: Well that is nothing compared to the fury of a woman who has been cheated out of tricks or treats!
