For the past several years we have done a haunted pirate ship display at our house. To go along with the haunt, we have had a "Pirate" party with our friends and neighbors.
This year our party was on Saturday and we had around 40 guests. The majority of them came in some sort of "Piratey" outfit, if nothing more than an eye patch and a bandanna.
The main course comprised of a hearty soup and a strong chili washed down with a selection of local wines and, of course, rum....!

The ships' doctor warned me that I've been partaking in too much wine, women and song and told me that I should cut back a bit.........I am really going to miss the singing.....
