Thread: Halloween Party 2010...the pics!

Hi all,

Well, our party was on Saturday 30th and it was certainly entertaining.

One of my friends slipped and fractured the back of her knee so had to be taken to the Hospital by Ambulance, soon after that another friend tripped over his own feet and smacked his face on the side of one of my coffee tables and broke a tooth (or rather, broke the cap off a tooth that had been broken some years ago) but thankfully he was OK, another friend, after puking up in the bathroom decided he was gonna sleep in the bath tub so we put his sleeping bag on him and left him there...he said he slept well!
The laser we bought, which had been bolted securely to the ceiling for 2 weeks, for the 9pm show had fallen down that morning so wasn't working properly anymore, and the smoke machine remote had given up so Dave had to use the manual switch at the back.

However, everyone that came had a great night and said it was the best party they'd been to and all hoped we'd do another party next year.
Next years will have to be Friday 11th November though as I work shifts and some of the people there are work m8s and therefore wouldn't get the time off to attend if we arranged it for Halloween, but then last years one was the same and had to be done on Friday 13th November so worked out well.

Just been told that my m8 who hurt her knee has seen the specialist and he's confirmed its ligament damage and not a fractured knee cap. In some ways she'd have been better off with a fracture as ligament damage is horrendous to recover from.
Anyway, she's looking forward to next years party!

Wow, it sounds like it was Friday the 13th this year! YOu should use a superstition theme next year. It would be fun on that date. Great photos. It looks like you'll had a good time.
