Default Black and White Horror Movies

    Hey all,

I've been trying to find Black and White with subtitles old movies. Last year, I had a party and I played Trick R' Treat with subtitles but everyone wanted to hear it, so I had to cut off the music and everyone ended up sitting down and watching the movie. Wasn't the best. This year, I'm hoping to find an old time black/white movie(s) that are entirely subtitled that I can play during the party. Can anyone point me in the right direction? My party is on October 16th (coming up REAL quick) and I'm freaking out as to where I can find one! Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!

Nosferatu is awesome to have playing on the TV for a party.

I totally love Frankenstein and The Bride of Frankenstein () running as well even it they aren't subtitled...

    Default Old B&W horror films

I agree, Nosferatu is a great one to have playing in the background. It was a silent film so no volume to turn up, no sounds to hear... it has that creepy B&W thing going for it. Would look great on a big screen with colored lights all around and Halloween type music playing! I would go fo that one if it was me... night of the living dead isn't bad either and I'm pretty sure there is a version with subtitles somewhere on DVD.

When Nosferatu is over, I'd put in Phantom of the Opera! Great silent film, and I assume you'll need more than one movie?

I agree with this .. my friend has INSISTED i play Nosferatu on the tv during the party with my halloween mix in the background.

Netflix has it on Instant Watch! So if you have a Wii, PS3, Internet DVD/BluRay player you dont even have to get the disc. You can just play it throw instant watch. That's what i'm doing.

You can also rent it from Netflix too if you want the disc. I'd get it shipped ASAP and keep it until Halloween cause i bet Netflix runs out of it come the 31st.
