So I know how everybody loves their Halloween props and ghouls, but I was wondering about how many of you truly believe in the supernatural? Have you ever had any experiences with ghosts or demons?

I believe.
I just hope I never see one.
I love my props but not the real deal.

I believe anything is possible but I am extremely skeptical of most tales of "paranormal activity".

I believe in the supernatural and have had several experiences that have absolutely terrified me.
Whilst appearing in a touring production of Macbeth and A Midsummer Nights Dream, that went round the country being performed in castle ruins, stately homes and theatres I had my first paranormal encounter.
We had just finished a performance of 'Midsummer' at an old abbey ruin, where there was a tree that had been there for so long that the roots began growing into the stone of the ruins.
I wanted to go back and take a picture of the tree. It was very late but I didnt want to leave without snapping a pic so I headed back with this woman and her young daughter.
As we walked back into the ruins I looked up and about 20 feet in front of me was a bright glowing white figure which walked in a straight line and dissapeared behind a wall.
Before I could even turn round and ask "Did you see that?!", the woman and her daughter were already running half way across the field, back to the cars.
Out of breath, I asked one of the staff at the castle if they had any record of ghost sightings and they said that a number of ghosts supposedly haunted the ruins.
Years and YEARS later, I was talking to a friend about this and I decided to look it up online for the first time. Turns out the ruins are haunted by several white monks!!
Another short one;
Whilst I was working for a company that hosted historical-ghost walks and events like 'Most Haunted' in various venues in my home town, I decided to partake in one of the investigations at a Castle.
We were conducting EVP - Electronic Voice Phenomena. Everyone was in pairs, but I decided to go by myself....Im not a scaredy cat!!! (hmmm).
I went down into the keep which is where they used to house the prisoners of war. The rest of the group were three floors up.
With my dictaphone in hand I started to ask questions to the spirits. I asked if anyone was there and there was a tapping noise. I asked for them to make the same sound again so I knew it was definitely an entity I was speaking with and there was the sound sure enough.
Then I asked if it was male, no sound. Then I asked if it was female and the tapping started again even louder and getting closer.
Then I asked them to make the sound again, So I knew it was them and the noise came again even louder from behind me.
I grabbed the dictaphone, run out and never looked back!!I've seen The Exorcist 167 times, and it keeps getting funnier every single time I see it!

I've experienced so many things that can't be explained. One of the scariest things that I've encountered happened a few years ago at my grandparent's house. My grandparent's owned this huge house that they built themselves on the outskirts of San Antonio. I was staying there with my mom and sister the summer my grandfather passed away. There have always been a lot of really freaky things that occured in the house so I was already a little on edge when I went to take a shower. While I was in the shower I noticed that the shower curtain started to open. I looked out and there wasn't anybody around. I thought that maybe the water pressure may have caused it to open so I closed it. I went back to showering and then I noticed that the shower curtain had started to open again. Again I just thought maybe there was some plausible reason why this was happening so I just closed it and went back to showering. Then I saw it start to open again and at that point I was getting a little freaked out so I snapped the curtain shut really fast. Right after I did that, the curtain snapped right open! There was no reason I could think of why that would have happened so I bolted out of the shower, got my towel and took off running out of the bathroom.
Many members of my family have had really scary experiences in that house and one day I had decided to go around taking pictures. In one of the pictures, there was this shadow of a man in a suit from the 1800s. I showed it to my mom and she showed my grandfather the picture and he got really quiet. We didn't know what was wrong but then he took out a really old photo album and showed us a picture of one of his uncles from Italy. It was the same guy!

I do pretty much believe in ghosts and am pretty open to any kind of strange phenomena out there. I've always been fascinated by the subject of the unknown and the unexplained.
I haven't ever seen or heard a ghost, personally (I don't think, anyway). I am rather afraid to see them... Maybe that's why I don't, who knows.*

Yep, I personally have no doubt whatsoever they exist..I'll just say we lived with one at our last residence....the family experienced years of activity.
I can tell you, when something significant occurs, you'll know it. All doubt will cease.
