Hi everyone. I wanted to post about this to see what the rest of you think, and whether I'm just losing my marbles!
I work part of the time in a Hostel for homeless young people. Long story short...there's a THING in the kitchen.
Whenever I'm standing in the kitchen in front of the sink, with my back to the room, I feel like something is standing behind me, looking at me...and not looking at me in a NICE way. I often turn around, expecting one of the residents has sneaked in and trying to wind me up...but there is never anything there.
For some reason I feel this thing is male. And that it doesn't like women much.
It gets even stranger. One of my colleagues has experienced the same thing (and we had never discussed it before, so it can't be the power of suggestion.) Even more weirdly, a previous colleague who left before I started used to also experience this feeling of being watched in the kitchen...and I have never even met her, so I couldn't possibly have got the story from her!
I haven't been spending much time at the hostel lately, but last week I was there on my own and washing out my mug...when I just felt the THING looking at me...and I just thought to myself "Oh, it's back."
The two colleagues who have experienced this are both female by the way. The males don't seem to have any problem.
What do you guys think this is? And what, if anything, should I do about it?
I've never actually seen a ghost, and I don't ever SEE the 'thing'. I just sort of feel it. I can even feel the...like, the size and height of it, and the position it is in, which is leaning back on the counter with its (his) arms folded, staring right at the back of my head and thinking very bad things.
Tell me honestly, am I losing my marbles?!![]()

First thing, No, you are Not going Crazy.
2nd, it is likely a Former Resident that used to live there.
You can try addressing this "Thing" and asking it Not to do that.
If that doesn't work, try checking for High EMF.
This can also cause that same feeling.

I agree...high EMF can induce feelings of paranoia.
I would also strongly tell it, next time you sense it, to leave you the **** alone. Works well.

I agree with letting it know you don't want it doing that, but in a nice way. Don't Challenge it but don't be a wimp. If it helps any, it sounds as if the person that worked there before only had the feeling. Nothing harmful has happend to them or your friend, so nothing should happen to you. Good Luck

I LOVE the title of this thread!! It sounds like you've got a pretty horrid co-worker from the title!!LOL!
I third the EMF thing, at least that's what the guys from TAPS tell me.
Roger Clyne & the Peacemakers, the best damn little band you should be listening to!

You say the males that work there don't seem to be affected...have you asked any of them? Reason I ask is, well...would seem odd that high EMFs in this instance are only present when one gender is. Possible, I suppose, that the women in question are more sensitive to EMFs than the males there....
Tell it to leave you alone. Firmly, but nicely.a plague on both your houses
