For those of you that dont know me you can check my bio to see what I do for a living.
I recently went to a call where a guy committed suicide in a closet with a gun. There was another guy in the apartment that ran out and began banging on the neighbors door. The husband and wife opened the door and the other guy, obviously upset was yelling that his roomate shot himself. The wife looked from her doorway into the other apartment and saw the guy standing in the living room with a large hole in his head, he turned and walked to the back of the apartment. The wife, a medic in the military, went to follow the guy to try to help him out. She found him in the closet dead.
Here is the thing. There is no way he walked out of that closet. There is no way she could see him from her doorway. She is insitent that she saw him standing in the living room.
I've interviewed plenty of witnesses before and have gotten five different stories from people that witnessed the same event but nothing like this.
Just thought this might interest some of yall.

Could it be that the guy wasn't 'dead' right after the shooting? I have seen people who have been shot in the head and survived. Perhaps he walked out and then returned to the closet to die?

We have a couple of Paranormal groups around here that I thought about getting involved in.
Back when I worked homicide I had a guy call who lived in an apartment building. He started out saying "I know you think I'm a nut but" He was having problems in his apartment, footsteps, things moving, shadows, etc... He thought it was the spirit of a woman by the things that kept getting moved. He asked the management if anything had happened in his apartment in the past and they told him no. None of the neighbors had heard of anything either. He was asking me and hoping I wouldnt blow him off if I knew of anything. I got his address to look it up in the system and then told him that if he was nuts, I was too. I then told him that yes a woman had been murdered in his apartment about 15 years prior.
I thought that was kind of interesting.

I dont want to get too graphic but there is no way he had motor skills. Also I did blood pattern analysis and he had not been moved or left the closet.

That is extremely strange, especially considering that I was working on a short story recently that contained a similar paranormal event.
It gets weirder. That same story was influenced by another paranormal anomaly described by fellow member Gym Whourlfeld on a different thread. As a horror writer, I've always been paranoid, but...are you guys watching me?

Changing the face of horror literature...if I can only get something published first.

A Policeman's Story: –
08-05-2010,09:25 PM
An elderly couple built a new house (very expensive!)
It was completed, they moved in.
"I don't like the picture window, it's too high, I can't sit and look out of it!" Complained "The Wife"!
So nailpounders were summoned , they ripped out the new window, lowered it...then she complained:L"I don't like looking at those cows ."
So her Husband bought the field, removed the cows.
We will never know what she complained about next because he blew her head off, then blew his own brains out.
The Police Detective asked the morgue tec,, "Are you sure he's dead?"
"You better believe it! The whole back of his head is gone!" (Shotgun in mouth))
As the Policeman walked around the head of the table...the deceased's eyes tracked him from right side to left!
The Policeman was just there to remove the personal effects from the body.
But he was being "watched"!"My Insanity is well-respected, until they wiggle free and become a stringer for a tabloid"

Was there any evidence to confirm if he walked around after being shot?
