The other night my dad was scared out of his mind by something paranormal, maybe not a ghost or anything. He woke up at around 3 am and was laying in bed, and the dog was licking the cat so he patted the bed 3 times which is our signal to come for our dogs. After he did this he felt something pat the bed 3 times next to his leg and it was on the outside edge of the bed. He really wasn't ever a believer in the paranormal until now, he can't explain it at all. The weirdest part is we are the only owners of this house and it is only 13 years old. I kinda like the eerie felling that the house has now that everyone thinks it is haunted. I don't really think it is, but I am paranoid almost to the point of insanity so it makes being home along interesting. Now every little noise is going to make my family thing ghost, this shall be fun.

I also got a death threat that I would be kicked out of the house if I put the MM statue upstairs at night. They really must be scared since I really haven't seen them so serious in a long time.
We stopped checking for monsters under our beds when we realized they were inside of us

I'd guess the pats was the dogs tail hitting the side of the bed wagging. 3 wags of coincidence, or miscounted being half asleep from having just woke. The wagging was the conditioned response from the dog knowing after the signal it would soon be getting human attention and company. That or having just woke and giving the signal his realisation from his subcontious to contious of having done it was slightly delayed. This would be the same condition which gives a person the sense of dejavu.

    Just my 2 cents.
What doesn't kill you can still make you walk funny.

It had to be the dog that hit the bed.
Eventhough I am Dead it is always warm inside my bed.

Just how much you love living with your dad? God, I would be so tempted to do something bad to him. (L). Next time I am going to Brazil to see my wife's family who are somewhat paranoid of the supernatural, I am secretly bringing some of my halloween props and maybe a costume...

Hpw creepy for your dad! Hopefully it was just a coincidence like what Yubney was saying. But if not... who knows? I don't think houses have to be old to be haunted. Ours is only... 10 or so, but the daughter of the family that used to live here used to play with her ouija board all the time, perhaps that's why our lightbulbs always unscrew or turn on when they feel like it? Lol

Well, my dogs are Boston Terriers and they don't have tails, just little squiggles. This then has made my mom paranoid and she has had some weird stuff happen to her. Like a faucet turning on by itself, one of her diabetic needles in her coffee. Its odd, but I am growing to like the idea alittle bit since it makes them jumpy. I can stand in peripherals and it freaks them out.

I mean I have heard my share of weird noises and footsteps over the years, but I just shrug it off as my overactive imagination

a long time ago i had a friend over at night and we were just talking in my den and we both heard a really loud sound in the garage...kind of sound like someone dropped a metal pole and it landed on concrete. got my dad to go out and look in the garage and didn't find anything....nothing had fallen or nothin. was really weird. Then about a month ago i heard it again outside. scared the crap out of me. lol
    Save a Gravedigger the trouble....BE A ZOMBIE!
