No offense intended toward JT for posting, but I honestly don't understand what's so strange about the story. Someone moved out of their home because they thought it was haunted... Doesn't that happen fairly often? What makes this woman so special? I think the weirdest part of the article is this:
Is that really necessary, or even ... relevant?CHANNEL 5 NEWS contacted McAllen Police Records Department. We've asked for every single call made since the home was built 11 years ago.

I think it's more because she's claiming that "demons" drove her out of her home rather then just being haunted. I have a hard time believing in demons. I believe in ghosts and people not crossing over...but I can't wrap my mind around the possibility of demons and such. I think it's a religous thing really...whatever your religous beliefs are dictate what you believe can happen after death and what can exsis within that realm.

That's true, although the article itself never actually said that, despite having it in the title. What it did say that the woman's young daughter said that the little girl spirit was demonic. It sounds less strange coming from a little kid.
I've also heard "bad" spirits referred to as demons quite a few times, even if it wasn't necessarily meant in a religious sense.
Not trying to argue with anyone, though. I just thought the article was disappointing because ... well, it didn't really say much, to be honest. I'd be interested in seeing "what turns up" if the news station actually finds anything else related to the haunting.

Not to step on toes or offend anyone here but what about her being just plain crazy (ie; mentally ill at some level)?
What doesn't kill you can still make you walk funny.

Darn site won't open, it just says Error. ANyways... I agree, what is so strange about someone moving out of their home because it is haunted or full of demons? Maybe the news just wanted to sensationalize it and use the word demons.
Spiderqueen- I agree with your comment of why are they looking up phone records?? But with the laws the way they are now they don't even need a reason to tap your phone lines, maybe it's the same with phone records and someone got curious?

Or maybe the lady specifically said demons.
Perhaps they want to see who she had been talking to recently and see if those people know if she'd been under stress or anything else that might help.Spiderqueen- I agree with your comment of why are they looking up phone records?? But with the laws the way they are now they don't even need a reason to tap your phone lines, maybe it's the same with phone records and someone got curious?
