I am throwing this one out to all you ghost hunters and photography buffs. This picture is taken of me on halloween night by a co-workers wife. I ask this question. We have taken night shots over the past years, not only with my camera but other cameras from neighbors. The same occurance is happening. I have light orbs in the pictures. There is no wind and other houses are fine. Am I raising the dead on this night?

Looks like it to me. We were at Cape May at the Congress Hall and took pics outside and there were orbs. Great place with a lot of hauntings and ghosts that still haunt.
Deep into that darkness peering, long I stood there wondering, fearing,Doubting, dreaming dreams no mortal ever dared to dream before

Awesome! I know that peoplehave passed off on stuff like this because of some goofy exposure to the camera. But I tell yah I have never taking a night shot with orbs. And since its with various cameras on different dates makes it more interesting.
- Just a random thought. I once heard that the White House is haunted. The ghost of lincoln, confederate soldiers on the back lawn, and just general noises that keep the secret service scrambling to already secured areas.

i took some pics the first year i did my haunt in this house. we had lots of kids running around, but my grandson is the only one with orbs around him. i posted the pic on here and everyone told me it was just dust. but since then, everytime i take pics, he is the only one who comes out with orbs. kind of creepy.

It's been said that they way to tell the difference between dust & orbs, is that orbs give off their own light, while dust just reflects light. Those look like they reflecting light.

I will agree with the dust answer, but what is puzzling me is that there was no wind, no vehicle traffic to kick up any dust, and that she had taken different pictures throughout the neighborhood and my picture was the only one that had this occurance. As I had mentioned earlier throughout the years with different cameras this still happens. Things that make you go HMMMMM..

Yes, Paulie, you ARE raising the Dead on Hallowe'en Night. Also, if your house is uprooted by a Tornado, it will be carried over the Rainbow.

paulieshome,
I agree with those who stated above that the orbs you caught are dust. There are a number of reasons why I say so.
First off, there is a great number of orbs in this picture. Pictures with a large number of orbs are almost (99.9%) of the time dust or air particles. There doesn't have to be any wind or motion for dust to be in the air - it is always present.
Secondly, most theories related to paranormal infestations regarding orbs state that a spiritual orb (ghost) will create its own source of light. Dust will reflect the light. All of the orbs in the picture are reflecting light - not creating its own.
Most ghostly/spiritual orbs will have a visible trail as well, which also makes me believe that this is dust or air particles you have captured. When I say trail I mean a flight pattern - you will see the orb as well as a fading tail behind it that shows it's path.
I also see (what I believe to be ) a fog machine in your picture on the ground behind you (right of you). This could be causing these images as well.
It's very hard to capture a spirit/ghost/apparition outside due to the complex nature of the picture (tree's, cars, many sources of light - even at night). Pixelation will also influence many to believe what they are seeing is what our minds are making us see - but it's not really there. EG. seeing a "Ghost" in the tree's, when it is really just the foliage and shadows playing a trick on your eyes.
On another note, do you have any activity in your house, or outside of your house? Have you caught anything else on film?
Hope this helps!
