at this point I dont think it is evil. I have not used my brothers Ouija board because I know the remaifcations of opening doors. it was here before we moved in. it has shown not malice or hurt torwed me or my family it knows I have notice it and seems very active when I am around.... I have did some back ground checking about my property and found out back in the 20-30s there was a large family that lived here and my be some unmarked graves here where they buried their family on the property .at that time it was 575 acres.. and has been split up. our property is where the Home site was. at this time things that are happing are that my printer comes on then shuts its self off and now my computer somtimes go all wacky. I have notice cold spots and my dog will dig and the floor.
it is more active on certin days of the month.. ?

I think this little fella is probably drawn to you as a Maternal figure, and I really don't think there's any reason to fear it, whatever "it" is.

I'm no expert on the paranormal, but If I were in your position I wouldn't go with the Ouija board purely because I would be concerned about causing distress or anxiety to your "guest", and not through fear of anything else.

Back in the 20's and 30's, A large family probably would not have been able to afford proper funerals and burials. They almost certainly would not have been able to afford stone grave furniture and would probably have used just a simple wooden marker, or pile of stones so I should think that there is a high likelihood of there being unmarked graves on the property.

Why the little fella should be more active on certain days of the month, though, is a mystery to me...maybe somebody could offer some theories??

Just curious; did anything out-of-the-ordinary occur on Hallowe'en Night?

I dont have any intention to using the oujia board. what ever it is it is harmless and I am a mother of 5 kids and we are a very loving family so that could be it I feel it is just part of our home now and or family we are not frighten by it . we were not home on halloween we went out tricker treating in town.. keep in mind we live in a town of 125 people,, there are more cows then people here LOL little are hard to go to house to house,, but some do,, they ride there ATVs or horses .. or do hay rides with the kids around area..

I do believe that certain days or times of the week, month, year, etc may be more active than others for a couple reasons. I attribute it to things that occurred during someone's lifetime. For example, houses might become active around holidays as those were important times (i.e. visiting family, big family dinner, traditions). Or maybe Wednesday night was family dinner night, or family game night, or something of that sort. With that in mind, I feel like maybe spirits/entities/etc might be more active during that day or time because it has much more significance to them than Monday morning.

Just an idea I've had though. Nothing to prove or disprove .

It could be residual in haunting but it does appear to be a more intelligent haunting since it seems to interact with more than cabinets. I still would suggest conversing with a legit paranormal group over it. Just to gain insight or information. I would offer my services but unfortunately I am not in a revenue status to where I could afford travel to investigate. I am limited to an area of Alabama for now until my business picks up to where I can spend money for travel when I am not working or on my days off to investigate more abroad. Like legit paranormal investigators no money is asked, since we feel that doing this and taking on such, the information gathered on any case is priceless to help understand why there is activity.

I only suggested moving the Ouija board out of the house due to even though it is not used in the home or by anyone it still has the ability to open doors since it does not even take anyone to use it to open doors to activity. I can respect your decision of keeping it in the home. And since you feel it is harmless, I can only advise to keep a journal of some type of the activity and when it becomes more often also record what is going on at the time or any thing that has changed even things you may not feel being a significant change in what is going on in your home may affect activity.
