Here's an interesting article about many conditions blamed on, and myths surrounding, the full Moon.

The Moons influence on Human Behavior is well documented. Ask any Veteran Cop or ER Nurse. I have noted that my hair and nails grow far more rapidly as the Full Moon approaches. I used to get more aggressive (when I was a kid) and had my best Football and Basketball Games around the Full Moon. I just felt faster and stronger. My younger sister was the same way, but she would also suffer nose bleeds. Weird stuff.
What's REALLY scarey is how the Planet reacts to Full Moons and to the Lunar apogees. Worldwide, earthquakes are far more common during Apogee than at any other time.Wolfman

A friend of my cousin strips off and howls at the full moon (usually in the local bowling green), sounds wacky but true unfortunately.

Well, as an ER nurse for 20+ years, I will swear on a stack of Bibles that babies are born and lunacy (of all types) does indeed occur at the full moon.
Really.
