Well, not to be a downer on this thread but I have been frustrated with Ghost Hunters. First, several episodes have had a "reveal" of "nothing was found" well...why do you air it? Its kinda like watching a fishing show and "no fish are ever caught" lets just watch the guys sit in the boat and talk? To me that is poor production, they need to have a few in their back pocket to air IF they have a few duds...
Second, Has anyone ever watched these reality shows? Big Brother, Love of Money, Survivor? They have a bazillion cameras EVERYWHERE! Under rocks, underwater, in a drinking glass, in the refridgerator, every room in the house, in the cars, etc....why does GH only have about 10 cameras? This show has been on for quite a few seasons and should have some budget yet they choose to use their cheap hand held cameras...there are MANY other high end cameras they should be using to film this stuff.
Lastly, waaaaay too many sound effects. We cant even hear what is being said by Jason or Grant, let alone ANY EVP that happens as they have some sound effect playing at the exact same time! This show frustrates me and yes, I still continue to watch it but damn, lets get back to basics people!!!
I think they are getting WAAAY to commercial and have forgotton the things that the viewers want to see....PARANORMAL ACTIVITY! Not banter between tango and Chris or discussions about....anything else!

Depends. Some of the best ones are where they find nothing or debunk all the claims.
Especially when they catch people trying to fool em by rigging things.
I'm sure SciFi could set up a ton of cameras. But, all SciFi is doing is following TAPS. I'm quite certain TAPS does not have the budget for hundreds of cameras, and the bank of servers to record all that video. Not to mention the few hours they actually have to set up at a location.Second, Has anyone ever watched these reality shows? Big Brother, Love of Money, Survivor? Yeah, that part is annoying.

Ah, the banter is often fun.

This is one of my favorite shows. I never miss a Wednesday night! I tend to like Ghost Hunters better than Ghost Hunters International. That Andy guy just tends to bug...lol.
My favorite one was the St. Augustine Lighthouse episode. That one was CREEPY!!!!

Ghost hunters is a great show. It's too bad my work schedule keeps rotating, and doesn't allow me to watch it all the time. You can most definitely see the change in their budget from one season to the next. I like how they do try to debunk everything they find. I'm not sure about a favorite episode, they all seem to have cool things going on in them.
As darkness falls, the path ahead becomes veiled in gloom. A jack-o-lantern shines through the night. It's horrible visage serves two fold. To keep wickedness at bay, and remind travelers their fate, if they wander off the path.

I watch it to see the locations they go to, but they do tend to piss me off sometimes. I liked the one on last night at the Train Station.

if they didn't show the ones where nothing happens, then it would be harder to believe they also try to debunk and are realistic. sometimes somethings just don't happen. i like jason, you are right, he is good, but i like grant as well. i liked it when they showed steve he was using his rank to push tango around. as for brian, he made me laugh. i like all the staff except one guy. i think his name was chris and i don't think he is there anymore. he was always late, a smarty, a know it all, and that one time they thought they caught something but he wasn't at his post, he was across the street at the bar, well, that guy bugged me. i also like the local ones better, but the intrnational ones are alright. i don't mind the background music some. but there are times when it does interfere with the show.
i love ghost whisperer.

I thought the episode where Jason laid the flashlight on the floor and told the entity to light it up was cool.. the kids and I watch every Wednesday night. I think one of my favorite episodes was when Jason let a psychic/medium attempt to do a reading on him and the thermal imager picked up the energy readings between the two - that was crazy !
