Has anyone seen this? It's been all over the past couple of days.
Some people are saying it is merely a sea turtle without its shell; other people are saying it's some sort of hoax - part of a viral campaign for a movie or website. Others are suggesting it's some unknown mutant monster.
What say you?

A sea turtle is attached to it's shell. What do those people think, that turtles wear shells like we wear clothes? Been watching too many Bugs Bunny cartoons. As to the critter, I don't know what the hell it is - has the pic been inspected for Photoshop alterations, I wonder?
I...have many names...

They were talking about this thing on the radio here where I live - apparently it's some Viral Marketing. Not sure for what, though.

It's part of the marketing campaign for Cloverfield 2, actually.
"WHAT'S out there?"
"I don't know.......it was little and brown, and low to the ground!"

Now lets watch the goverment cover this up too. Jeff Corwin says it was a rare type of racoon....is he serious??
I have seen many racoons and have never seen one that looks like it mated with a parrot and a seal.
Can you stake my heart?

rumor from one place is that it is just a well crafted latex prop
...somewhere in the north-woods darkness, a creature walks upright.
And the best advice you may ever get is never to go out…at night.

Yes, it's a nice job, isn't it! Sort of a modern-day version of a Fiji Mermaid.
