I always wondered if I am a em-path of sorts ~ I feel things a lil' deeper than most but then again it could be just my Cancer birth sign ~

Examples ~ On a hiking trip I was drawn off the path and down to a grove of trees. It was beautiful to me and there was an immense sense of serenity. I asked my friends if they could feel it but they just said it was like any other trees...but another friend said ...its like where fairys would hang out...and thats what I was feeling ..that it was magical.
We later found out that path ran close to a known vortex here in Oregon.

~ While on a road trip I was staring out the window watching the scenery go by. I saw off the way a house that was abandoned..and obviously empty for some time as plants were taking over. I felt an intense feeling of sadness...of loneliness and of being forgotten. I almost wanted to cry. I never found out what happened at that house or why it was left alone but maybe I felt the house itself. Everyday many other such feelings....

I stopped relaying my feelings of places and objects cus there is no image or confirmations most of the time that explain em' so I just feel it ..take it in and wonder.

This possible openess might explain why I have had some poltergeists of sorts happen to me... here's one that could've esculated if I had stayed there....

I was in Vail CO ~ living in an house that had been built when the town was built. The house had been divided up into several small apartments. When I'd come home from being out I'd find the cupboards would be all open. I'd close em' wonder and then say aloud to 'whomever'
"were ya looking for something?" No answer but we'd play this game several times a week. It first scared me then since nothing bad was happening I just let it go on...I mean what else was I to do?
Then I started dating a guy and he'd sometimes come over after his final shift at the pizza cafe...around 1130pm. I'd stay awake for him, reading a book in bed (which was up in a loft with a ladder to get to) and wait to hear his footsteps on the gravel outside.
One such night. I heard his footsteps on the gravel, I heard the door creak open and closed and then the creaks of the ladder as he came up to the bed. I felt his hand on my shoulder and turned over to greet him ...... but....
    ....
    nothing was there!

And just as I was realizing this ...I heard footsteps on the gravel, the door open and he called my name.
Im like "is that you for real?" and told him what had just happened. He said I mustve fallen asleep but I hadnt I was wide awake when it happened.... I think my lil ghost was upping its game ... fortunately I didnt get to see how far it'd go as my boyfriend and I moved into another place together.

I had another experience just recently ~ it liked to turn my lights on in the middle of the night .....still happens. Fortunately not all the time. I got mad when it turned on my bedroom light at 3am...that was disturbing my sleep! And said so.... saying please play in the other side of house mind you! And well ...no more bedroom lights turned on.

so did the ghost ever find his wife and son?
Before the move ever came out ...I saw a TV show on the events in Conn. Events did not esculate to anything like in the movie ... heres the link to the show I saw this story originally on

... Seems to me the family may have had some paranormal activity but it seemed the fish tale and 'fish' keeps getting bigger and bigger each time its told.

LOL sorry reference to one of my fave movies "Big Fish"....

My brothers had a few ghostly experiences. When my Uncles, Mum passed away my Brother who had met the lady previously, attended her funeral. My Brother was about 16 at the time and had to take the train to get there, as the journey was long. He also had to stay at the deceased ladies house overnight.

Whilst he was in bed that evening, he felt the side of the bed press down, as if somebody had sat on it's edge. Then the covers moved up his shoulders, the lady was a very caring woman and my brother said, it would have been just like her.. to pull up the covers to make sure you'd be warm in the night.

He also had an experience when him and a bunch of work colleagues, rented a cottage in Cumbria for a weekend. Him and other members of the group kept seeing flashes of a man body wearing a red waistcoat. He was also slapped on the back of the head, whilst he was having a pee in the toilet (lol). He said he nearly jumped out of his skin. They also heard footsteps walking up the gravel path and when they went to sign the guest book. There were a few entries about the ghost, one saying "we had a lovely time, but we didn't like the extra guest".

My Husband also had nightly visits from an elderly lady ghost. He used to live in a large house with his parents and his bedroom was on the top 3rd floor. He would see the lady sat in the corner every night, whilst he was in bed reading a book. He said she didn't frighten him because he'd gotten used to her being around.

In a previous house we rented, I had some glass candle lamp things on my bedroom windowsill. Nightly, I would hear them being tapped on (well you know the sound a wine glass makes when you flick it) and when I'd wake the Husband, It would stop as soon as he was sleeping it'd start again. Eventually I got fed up and binned the bloody things! Also whilst in the same house our cat had been killed on the road and one night as we were watching tv. I saw a low brown shape pass by the bottom of the glass panelled door, my Husband saw it too and said "did you see that" I guessed it was our poor kitty making one last visit.

OK last one, when I was about 13 and still living at parents, I was alone in the house. My Mums big grey Persian cat start hissing at the doorway. He went really low to the floor and was growling and backing up slowly. I'd never seen him act this crazy before and here was nothing I could see. He was doing this for around 10 minutes, so naturally he scared the crap out of me.
When my Mum came home she found me, the 2 Persian cats and the dog all locked in the downstairs toilet, hiding from the unseen visitor lol

The thing is they weren't old, I think it took a liking to them or maybe it just liked to play tricks. There was definitely something in that room. You always had the feeling you were being watched. lol killed my sex life
