Here's a story reminiscent of "Firestarter."

It concerns a little boy in Italy who, in 1982, discovered that his stare would start and cause fires to erupt. It first started when he was sitting in a dentist's office and reading a comic book. The comic burst into flames in his hands...................

And that was just he beginning........

Wierd.

My brain immediately says 'hoax', especially with such a website. However, Snopes has no info on it at all right now.

Now, IIRC, weren't there a lot of unexplained fires in Italy a few years back?

Hoax or not,I could use that kind of power.

I'd go through to many monitors and laptops with that kind of power.

It's dangerous to be around that kind of person. Just imagine having a friend with such powers. You wouldn't want him to stare at you for long.
