Hmmm..Don't seem to get too many reports "North o' the Border", although I think there was a fairly recent sighting over Glasgow.

A giant UFO was reportedly witnessed by a number of people in the Siberian city of Chita on February 15th. It was described as "a black triangle with smooth edges" and was completely silent.

The Battle of Los Angeles occurred on February 25th 1942 when a number of unidentified objects in the sky over the city were fired upon by anti-aircraft artillery. It was thought at the time that the objects were Japanese aircraft.....
However this turned out not to be the case. To this day nobody is sure what the objects were. Theories range from weather balloons and blimps to spacecraft.....

Roswell fireman confesses 1947 UFO crash –

A fireman who worked at Roswell in 1947 has claimed that the mysterious crash that occurred that year was indeed of alien origin. In an interview he said a Roswell Army Air Field Colonel came to the fire department and insisted that nobody was to speak about it, visit the site or respond to any questions pertaining to the incident.
