ok i'm gonna go out on a limb here. my friend owens about 14 acres of land and on it sits an old old cabin . I know the age of the place just sets the scene but I'm not lying.. the place and the property is bad. It just dosen't feel right , when you go there you get depressed feel lonly and don't want to stay long.. not to mention ..its the bad luck capital of western PA.. seriously! anything that could go wrong has gon wrong a number of times there, trust me, I hear about and see it every day. the poor guy has lived there for 17 years and has been like that since he moved in .. the last 4 familys moved quickly ..not exadurating. he's at the end of his wits I know. has anyone dealt with this before/and what have you done about it?any help from people who believe in this sort of thing would be greatly appreaciated.. any one in the wicca religon or preist? yes its that bad, I feel silly posting this but I believe in the paranormal .if you don't want to post just PM me... thanks.

I know what you mean about the feel of a place. I've experienced it as well. Nothing happened to me, but the energy was off.

thanks jackielantern, support is needed too . my buddy is having a tough time , the place is robbing him of his life, but can't leave cuz his parents and his sons live on the property, so even a show of support will help this post untill someone comes foward who knows what to do... sounds silly huh?

Maybe your friend could contact a "professional" group that explores paranormal activity. I don't know what method you would use to find this group, but someone on the forum might have an idea.

i used to live in a place like that in highschool. it was an old house on several acres of land and it sat right on the KY river way out in the country. no one ever wanted to come over and i stayed at friends houses alot to avoid being there. all my friends said something wasn't right and i felt it too. after we moved in, we found bullet holes through one of the front windows and in the wall (it was definately a fixer-upper) in 6 months time, the river completely flooded our house, the house caught on fire, my parents went bankrupt, a child was attacked by a dog and numerous car accidents happened right in front of the house. one time, a lady flipped her car on it's top about 10 yards from my house. something bad was just always going on. if you guys remember that post i made about my preminition and then found my cat almost dead in front of my house, well it all happened there. i've never felt so much sadness in my life attached to a house and bit of land. i swear a dark cloud of bad energy was hanging over that house. a year after we moved out, i drove by it and it was all boarded up. good. it needs to be that way

maybe he could contact a group like ghosthunters who could tell him of someone qualified to help. someone experienced. you would think they would have names. this is something you wouldn't want to tackle inexperienced. good luck. i know this can be a scary ordeal.

Definitely hire someone. Try a local priest to do a blessing. That may be all it takes. But if you want to find out what might be there then you should look up a medium or a paranormal group. I'm sure there are plenty available in PA.

First question, does your friend own the property? If he doesn't this might not help. If he does, the house needs to be cleansed. Whatever denomination he believes in will help to strengthen the cleansing.

If he believes in the power of crystals and stones, a piece of hematite is for protection and Tiger's eye is for luck and might help as well. A blessing on them will help strengthen their power and should be worn. Also copper around the entrance of the home will not allow anything negative in as it is a pure metal. Once the home is blessed, surround the home with salt near the foundation. It can help to keep out what's been driven out and helps with bugs too.

If he believes in the metaphysical, burning white sage throughout the home during the solstices might help.

I am just barely scratching the surface but above all, if he owns the property, he MUST claim it. Many people have problems with the supernatural because they do not claim their property. It's hard to explain but you must stand you're ground and claim what you own.

Also, he might want to consider contacting a local Shaman. The energy in PA is old and depending on what he is dealing with, might not go away easily.

another idea would be to do a check or background on who has lived there in the past. maybe some locals might know some history on the place. this way you might have an idea of what or who you're dealing with
