Hey guys. I went on a ghost walk tonight. I live in York which is said to be the most haunted city in Europe. Anyway, I took this picture on my phone. Yeah the quality sucks and my finger was partially over the lens because I was in a hurry to catch up with the rest of the group who had already carried on on the tour.



I noticed a couple of strange things about this photo. If you look near the bottom, there appears to be a pair of feet. Nobody was stood in front of me when I took this photo.

Also, near the back, is what almost looks like a head. Again, nobody was anywhere nearby when I took this photo.

A couple of attempts to mess around with the individual sections in Photoshop:

I can't really enhance the images too much as the image quality is simply too poor. When I try to sharpen them, I end up sharpening all the imperfections which makes the image harder to see :-/

What do you guys think anyway?

Guys, check it out. I just found this link. Someone else captured a ghost in the SAME EXACT PLACE.

You can clearly see in both photos the two doors of the house (one small, one large) and the same outside light. You can tell it's that same corner because the wall of the house falls away to the right and that's where the alley is that leads back to the street.

Curiouser and curiouser.

I think you just have a pixelated image and matrixing going on. Not trying to be mean or anything, but I can't see anything in the picture you provided, even when I invert the image.

The link you provided looks like that photo isn't really true. Assuming that is a ghost, why does it have a shadow from the light? If we assume that ghosts are not material, but rather light or mist, then it should not have a shadow casted on the ground.

I don't see anything in your photo. But it is interesting how that other picture was taken in the exact same spot (and I can see that it is the same). Even if neither photo has a real ghost/spirit in it, it's still a coincidence.
