Why is it that every show out there but Ghost Hunters is full of demons? They all go to the same places and everyone of them sees or hears Demons Except Ghost Hunters. I guess that a blood thirsty Demon makes better T.V. than your old lovable uncle Carl that Just moves things and causes no harm

IMO, Paranormal State was the absolute worst about that. As I recall, they had an episode where they performed an exorcism on a young lady. It looked so hokey and contrived.

If you go to the TAPS website and look in their archives, you'll come across an article on demonology - they've dealt with them, just not often. Which is normal. You're spot on as to why the other shows are always dealing with them. Friends, if you're tripping on demons everywhere you go - and they're real - then you've got some following you.

A Haunting got really bad about this, too. The episodes were supposed to be based on real events, but they just started getting stupid and fake to make them more scary.

Maybe because of the religious over-tones dealing with Demonology.

Paranormal State irritated me to no end. I don't even know why they bothered traveling around to find cases. It seemed apparent that Satan and the entire legion of hell was all after the main investigator. What I found even more ridiculous was that some cases were like several states away and yet the demon haunting there was the one after the main investigator all along. "He was brought there for a purpose." Really if a demon wanted you why would he haunt a family over 200 miles away.
