Hi! I grew up around Gettysburg and I always loved visiting. When I go home to visit my family I am considering going on a ghost hunt with the Gettysburg Paranormal. It happens Saturday night from 11pm-2am and $55.
Has anyone been on an hunt (like to ones on tv) and if so, was it worth it?
Thanks

It's a little expensive, so the main question is, will you enjoy the experience enough to spend that $55, even if nothing happens? Remember there's a big possibility you won't see a thing... but being on the hunt could still be enjoyable if you're really into the paranormal or spookiness in general. Think of it as if you were going to a casino with a limit of $55 to gamble away. There's a big chance you won't win anything, so do you enjoy gambling enough that spending $55 on it is worth it, just because you're going to have a good time while you're there? (Not that I condone spending that much on gambling; just an example.) Gettysburg is a pretty haunted place, so there's also a chance that something really cool and spooky will happen (a better chance than you winning at a casino, if you ask me). With that in mind, you also have to stop and think about whether or not you're cool-headed enough to handle it if you do see a ghost. And hopefully this hunt wasn't happening this Saturday night, or else my reply is already too late anyway.

Thanks for your reply! No, I was thinking sometime early october or November. I am open minded and really have no idea how I would react to something if I saw it! I grew up around the area and had friends that lived in really old houses and it was really creepy hearing their stories. I am still up in the air about it all, mostly because I don't know how credible these people are. The pictures I saw weren't impressive. I could probably walk around Gettysburg myself and get something out of it.
