I like this one quite a bit. I watch all the paranormal shows though.

In looks like the one this week has a UFO encounter in it? So I guess it's not entirely 'A Haunting Except On Syfy'.

I watch everything too though, so I probably shouldn't judge.

I love to watch paranormal shows, so I'm going to have to check this one out. I watch Ghost Hunters and GHI and Ghost Lab and Most Haunted, but unfortunately, as much as I love those shows, they don't actually spend much time talking about the experiences people have had or the stories behind the places they are investigating. I love to hear the tales of what actually occurred in those locations or to the people who lived there too, I don't JUST want to see the investigative stuff, ya know?

I have only seen a couple episodes of A Haunting, and I found the dramatization way over done, so I didn't bother watching it anymore. I don't mind dramatization, as long as it doesn't make the whole thing seem like a bad horror movie plot rather than somebody's actual experience.

Anyway! I'll definitely be checking this show out, thanks for the heads up about it!

Paranormal accounts are one thing but fantasizing them is another.
It is the Syfy channel after all.

As for the show, I take it at arms lenght --- truth be told I don't buy any of these shows as having some kind of factual story or authentic evidence. It's all people telling others an entertaining story. I watch the first episode and enjoyed it --- it was a big load of BS --- but was entertained by what it was.

Ghost Adventures goes into great detail about the history of the locations, as well as interviewing people who've had experiences there. Sometimes they are employees or other paranormal teams. Check it out. The new season should be starting soon.

EDIT: Just checked, it starts next Friday.
