All are technically UFOs until they are identified. To give some explainations...
Military and civlilian amature rockets fired at night with second stages firing, and some losing telemetry and spriallying out of control... though those spirals was cool as hell.
Hand gliding enthusiests flying at night with attached lights... this is a common practice.
Black Op drone vehicles being flown.
Photoshop... LOTS of Photoshop stuff out there.
Mylar balloons.
High flying birds.
Meteors and space debris re-entering the atmosphere.
Down bursts and other weather phenominum.
Temperature inversion of surface objects reflected on them much in the way as desert mirages are observed.
Lastly just some crazy calling Art if there was indeed some actual "failier" of the transmitter and it wasn't for show by the production team... simple coincedence of the failier.
Interesting stuff none the less but nothing definitive. What doesn't kill you can still make you walk funny.

I've seen one UFO in my life. I spent 10 years flying for the Navy and have over 2,200 hours in the air, so I've seen pretty much every aircraft in every possible environment, so when I say I saw a UFO, I saw a UFO.

Back in late 2001, my wife and I were sitting outside our house in St. Mary's County Maryland. It was about 11:00 at night, and we were just sitting back enjoying the breeze before going to bed. She looked up and said "that plane sure is going fast!" I looked up, and saw two aircraft flying towards us, I'm guessing vertical seperation was about five miles, with the lead aircraft rapidly pulling away from the trailer. We lived directly under the approach and departure paths for Reagan International Airport in DC, and we had planes from there flying over all the time, so seeing a couple planes departing Reagan by flying somewhere near to us was nothing new.
I told my wife the reason the lead plane looked to be going so much faster than the trailer was the lead aircraft was likely an MD-11/DC-9 or similar jet, and the trailer was one of the prop commuter planes that flew out of Reagan. I watched the lead aircraft as it went over at I'm guessing about 6-7,000 feet, and I didn't see anything but a bright white light and no strobes or nav lights, which was odd but depending on an aircraft's altitude and attitude, that's not unusual at night. It did seem to be moving awfully fast, but I just wrote it off to perspective with the prop plane and not having any visual references in a dark sky.
The next morning, all the radio stations in DC were abuzz about a UFO that had flown over DC the night before. It turned out the lead aircraft we saw was the UFO, and the trailer was an F-16 (definately not a slow prop plane) that was chasing it (this was just after 9/11 and they had the combat air patrols over DC). I was working at the Naval Air Warfare Center at Patuxent River, where the Naval Test Pilot school is and where lots of unusual aircraft stop by so the test pilots can fly them, and I went over to the NTPS to see if they might be involved in this, and the guys I talked to there told me the word they got was that the F-16 pilot was on afterburner and still couldn't catch whatever it was. The UFO has headed due east, went out over the Atlantic, and was gone (we never did get any of the details of the chase other than that the F-16 pilot was unable to intercept.)
To this day I have no idea what we saw that night, but it was bright and moving so fast through the night sky it made an F-16 on the cans look slow.

I remember seeing one when i was in high school. It wasnt really that long that I gotten my driver lic, and my best friend and I were driving along the river bank and we both had the urge to turn our head to the river where there was hovering inches about the water was this shell-shape craft with the sun setting behind it. then it bink out. We both looked at each other thinking we reallly did not see that? not at the same time? we kept questioning each other until we saw that we did saw the craft at the same time.

About 6 years ago my dad and I were on our way home from work, when we came over a hill and seen a series of Large bright lights hovering over a tree line, I was so shocked I couldn't even speak, I just pointed toward them. Then disappeared with in a blink of an eye and they were gone. We tried to explain them on the rest of the ride home, but couldn't. It was something I had never seen before and an experience I will remember for the rest of my life. I don't know what they were, but it was cool, beautiful, and strange.
That is about the only experience that I have had personally with something like that, it was unexplainable and something to see.
