The Dimension limits for this filetype are 600 x 600. We were unable to resize your file so you will need to do so manually and upload it again. Your file is currently 4000 x 3000.

Really? This needs to be fixed......I'm not going to resize all of my pics..
Is there a fast, easy way to do this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you have a photobucket or other online photo sharing site account, you can use their sharing html codes or webpage address. Just add it along with your comments by clicking insert image tab and place website address in the alotted space. Hope this helps!

Irfanview is a great free program with batch image resize capabilities.

Make sure you study the instructions and make a backup copy of the files until you're sure you won't accidentally overwrite the originals.

There's tons of good photo editors. Infranview is excellent too. But the size limit does NOT need to be fixed, imo. Super large photos create all kinds of scrolling problems to veiw. Pictures are much more enjoyable in a forum when they're at a sensible size. It takes some effort, but we the veiwers very much appreciate it.

You can adjust it thru programs such as windows phot gallery. And some cameras you can adjust.
I had the same problem with my new camera so I just changed it on the camera.

I dont think they have a problem with a size limit, its just that the forum upload resizes for you, which is probably what they were counting on, but if your file to start with is too big, it just cant handle it, unless you plan on printing large photos, you could change your camera setting.
