Are there any forum members out there familiar with the Waterford Michigan area?

We're looking for a Halloween friendly neighborhood with lots of yard decorators.
Don't Fear The Reaper...They move up the drive past Jason, Freddy, Michael. *The mad doctor leers at them. *They pass the Reaper holding a very real scythe, suddenly he moves toward them...screams...omg that one's alive!!!!

I used to live in Pontiac, Mi... Right next door to Waterford. We did our haunt, there were two families one street over that did haunts...

I grew up in the area and you probably aren't going to find any neighborhoods that would be against Halloween decorating. Now a neighborhood where a bunch of people go all out?...that's another story. I never saw anything like that in Waterford. There was a neighborhood way our in Romeo that did that, though.

Michigan is said to have a huge number of home haunters so you shouldn't be too much of an odd encounter.
The Erebus Haunted house is in Pontiac, which isn't too far away, so that might be worth a visit if you have the time.
...somewhere in the north-woods darkness, a creature walks upright.
And the best advice you may ever get is never to go out…at night.
