Who is/are your favorite male character(s) from any horror, paranormal, thriller, magical, or monster movie or TV show and why? Criteria should be based on personality of the character, the acting, and of course, overall sexiness I know there are many, but try and stick to no more than 3.

My top 3 are:
Tom Cruise as the Vampire Lestat in Interview with a Vampire
This is the one and only movie with Tom Cruise in it that I absolutely love. Usually when I see movies with Tom Cruise in them I role my eyes. I feel like he completely embraced this character and totally unleashed his dark side. I couldn't imagine Lestat being played by any other actor.




James Marsters as Spike on Buffy: The Vampire Slayer
I was always a Spike fan. I loved how badass he always was and how he always took matters into his own hands. I loved the character development over the series and really enjoyed how Spike struggled to keep his emotional side buried under the mask of being the big, tough vampire. Plus, I'm pretty sure he's the only man I've ever known to really pull off bleach blonde hair.




Daniel Radcliffe as Harry Potter in the Harry Potter series
When I first set my little 14 year old eyes on the 13 year old Daniel Radcliffe, I was hooked. To this day I find him absolutely talented and of course, gorgeous. I think he has done an amazing job bringing Harry to life on the screen and I can't wait to see what he does in the future. Truly a young and rising star.

Faery_Tales. Wow Awesome Thread. However, boy oh boy, I can't say I have a tope 3, there are many that would equally fit into the top three, and also there are soooo many females Actresses that come to mind first, but here are only a tiny few of Male Cast I throughly enjoy and a movie I loved them in..

Interview with a Vampire: I Felt both Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt truly Shined in this film.

Lord of the Rings: Viggo Mortensen


The Shinning: Jack Nicklson

Any of the men from True Blood... for obvious reasons....

I much preferred Brad Pitt over Tom Cruise in IWAV, but then I prefer Brad over Tom in almost anything. Though I was surprised at Cruise's performance, it was so much better than I'd expected.

Viggo was amazingly hot as Aragorn, but he was equally hot as Lucifer in The Prophecy, but then he's hot in everything.



While I may be in the minority here, I find Danny Trejo appealing on some level too.


And if it counts in this category, ALL the men of Lost. Oh crap, now I've gone & done it! I just spent a half hour googling pics of Josh Holloway, Matthew Fox, Terry O'Quinn, Daniel Dae Kim, Jorge Garcia, Dominic Monaghan, Naveen Andrews & couldn't decide which pics of each of them to post because, well, they're all smokin' hot so here's a pic of all of them together.


And we should just rename this thread "POST HOT DROOLWORTHY GUYS IN HERE!!" 'cause really, that's what we're doing as we're drooling & googling.

SPIKE! Love him. James Marsters was on the premier of Hawaii 5-0 the other night as the bad guy and I said, "Spike! They won't kill Spike." Well, spoiler alert... they did. Bummer. I was hoping he'd be the season long villain.

Back in the day, I would have done just about ANYTHING for David from The Lost Boys (Kiefer Sutherland)

I LOVE this thread!! Ok maybe I'm being a bit of a cougar here but love these boys.... Stefan and Damon from Vampire Diaries. I think they're both just dreamy!

Ooo yea, I have dreamed about James Marsters from Buffy, for all the same reasons as you Faery_Tales's

Right now my delectable of choice is Jensen Ackles from Supernatural (tv show). Actually, Ive liked this dude since I saw him on Dark Angel. Not only is he eye candy from head to toe, but he has a sexy voice and really embodies each character I see him as. Talented!


Ian Somerhalder is another of my favorites, loved him since 2001. Such a hottie and he can go from mean to sensitive, its not hard to love those ice cold blue eyes and dark hair. He is currently in the Vampire Diaries but he was also in Lost.


And I know Im breaking the rules but I just have to give my props to Gerard Butler. He was the most beautiful man Ive ever seen back in 2000 and loved him in Dracula 2000, his sexiest role yet. Though he has had some other roles where he is just epic in. I looooved him also in Reign of Fire, Timeline , Lara croft and Phantom of the Opera. I havent liked his recent roles so much and wish he would stick to the fantasy stuff.

Going back a ways Adrian Paul as Duncan McLeod. Then there's Wesley Snipes as Blade.
