the front end of my mazda tribute shakes when i accelerate over 50 MPH. what do ya'll think?

maybe tires need to be balanced? i'm hoping it's something simple cause i'm on a budget with no warranty.

That could be it. How long have you had the tires and what is the wear pattern like. If you run your hand over the tire and it has a wavy feel that could mean its out of balance. If this is something new that has started the wear pattern may not have developed yet. However there are so many things that could cause this but the balance is the most common.

I'm betting tires wearing bad. Be careful cause it may straind you. If a tire blows you could be hurt. Have some one check your tire first and go from there.
