    why can't i upload a profile pic?! i have tried at least 8 different pics of different sizes and bytes.

    My windows picture viewer thing lets me click make a copy - when the pic is open in the viewer full screen not as a thumbnail - and then you can pick to save as a jpeg... and you get to keep your original higher qual photo. hope this works for you!
