Where do we post help inquiries?

My issue is:

I have an old post that is not editable and the link to download is no longer valid and I will post a new link if I can edit it. Is there a time limit set to disable editing?

My best guess is to "reply" to your original post.Or ask a MOD to edit it.

Why can't we edit our own posts? What is the time limit when edibility of a message expires and why is there a time limit?

I think the time limit is 3 days. As to why it's not indefinate....I 'dunno actually. I will ask the head honcho, Larry (administrator) and get back to you.

(darn, this now shows my powers are actually puny)

This was because of previous abuse of the system from other members and merchants.

This limit (as of now) is removed.

You may now edit your posts if needed. Terra has great powers :-)

Thanks to all who responded with assistance to this post. I appreciate the Edit feature being restored and hope it is not abused, so we can keep this privilege.
