    The smell is like rotting flesh... and the lines to see and smell it are around the block! They are even staying open late so that the crowds all have a chance to "experience" it.

    That sounds like a flower I saw in a garden in Singapore. It was called Raffelsia, named after the man who founded Singapore. Smelled like rotten meat. Apparently, it is pollinated by carrion-eating flies. It is also the largest flower on Earth. Is the one in Texas orange with white spots and HUGE?

    I saw a segment about this on our news last night. This flower is huge! It towered over people standing next to it.

    That wouldn't be the ones I saw. They were low, on the ground, like cabbages. But 3' across.
