Hey guys. Im kind of new here on H forum and I was wondering if you could educate me a little bit on the rules when it comes to asking members to be on my friends list/contact. I know that sounds really stupid, maybe even pathetic, but lets face it, its not like we really know each other to begin with. So, are there any unwritten rules that im suppose to be aware of? Thanks.

They are written with disappearing ink on invisible pages in The Book OF Mists!

It's just like any other forum online. Send a friend request and the person may or may not accept it. However everyone is nice here so I doubt you'd be ignored.

I've been here for three years and I'm STILL not sure how the contacts feature is supposed to work.

Welcome, man in the cellar! Are you chained, or trusted to roam free down there?

I accept freind requests but have no clue why... What does being a "friend" get ya on this message board, or is it just like facebook where the goal is to have the most?

Don't know about friend request protocol but I would like to mention something else about this forum (or any other) that I would like to see a rule about. If you are going to post something that is really looooooong. Please, please break it up every once in a while. Maybe I'm alone on this but I usually just won't read it. It's just too unpleasant to keep track of where I am in the story. It was a genius who invented indentation.
When I post something long I try to break it with a blank line so the eyes can rest a second. Such as the one above. Most of you do but those who have never thought of it, give it a try because it's very hard to read if you don't.
Ok. I'm done. Back to the topic at hand.

Just send any request you may wish! The most that can happen is you get denied by a specific member... I dont think that would happen either because we have such a great membership here that are very respectfull of one another. Enjoy the HF!
