Thread: How do YOU shave?

heh... never thought I would see THAT subject on here!

So, I'm thinking about changing my implement of shaving from cartridge razors (a schick quatro) to a safety razor.

does anybody have experience with single-blade shaving?

Forget the safety blade, real men shave with a straight razor and a strop. That's the only way to go...

I recommend Dovo as a good starting blade...

As a bonus, a good straight razor can make for an excellent prop for a haunter, provided proper safety considerations are met. I use of with one on my 'gentleman psycho' characters and it works like a charm...

I use womens razors. There alot smoother. I'm all man.

I have a WAHL hair trimmer for the side burns, a beard trimmer for shaping them and when I get to lazy to get out the razor. I use one of those 4 blade razors that have the vibrator in it. Its nice, but you can't beat a nice straight blade shave. I think I might put that on my "to buy" list.

I use Gilette cartridge razors but have thought about using safety or straight razors. The cartridges cost an arm and a leg, it's ridiculous. I usually use the cartridges way past the time you're supposed to change them just to save money.
