Ok, I must rant. Two months ago I ordered personalized plates for hubby. They said that when I receive a letter saying that they are in to return back and collect the plates. I got the letter. So, I returned back today and it's really BUSY! I waited there for an hour and 15 minutes. Go up to the counter, hand the letter to the lady and she says that I'm at the wrong DMV!! I have to go to this other one. GRRR!

    Drive to the other DMV.

Now I walk up to the other DMV and there are people all over the front courtyard. This can't be good....I get a number and they tell me the wait is around 2 HOURS! Yep, and it was.

Finally go up to the counter and the man asked, "You're just here to pick up plates?" Yep. "You should have come back tomorrow. Today it's the end of the month (registration renewal) and it's always super busy. If you had come any other day we are normally slow."

    AHHHH!!!!!!

That would totally happen to me too, but I would have flipped out or just given up and went home. I have no patience when it comes to waiting in lines, I think I get line rage.

It was so awful it was funny. Good thing I wasn't suffering from PMS or I'd still be in jail.

The plates refer to his cool new Challenger. Something about it being BAD... Our beat-up older truck finally gave up the ghost (probably made hubby's day) and he saw his chance to grab her. Been wearing me down over it for a year.

Ok, bend my arm back...a pic:

Not sure if it was wise to do that or not (online searches). So, thought I'd play it safe. Basically says it's a bad (in a good way) Challenger.

All I can say is SWWWWEEEEEEEEEEEEEETTTTTTTT Ride . Is it a Hemi? I'm a sucker for Mopars from way back , I've owned 3 '70's era Chargers among some others.

    Yeah, it's a Hemi 6.1...

The Chargers were beautiful cars. Those Super Bees were somethin'!

He wanted a Challenger way back when they first came out and especially when he saw Vanishing Point. When this Challenger was introduced again, he was amazed at how they made it so retro. In fact, we tried to get plates that said 'RETRO' but they were taken. But the plate he really wanted was OA 5599 (bonus points if you figure out what that is).

You know what I got him to go with the new ride? Dingo boots.
