OMG the madness has begun! Dutch fans are crazy. See what I have to put up with?

The dutch played their first game and won....leading to more madness!
Plus side is, the stores were all empty during the game so it made for easy parking and peaceful shopping
Most companies allowed their employees to watch the game on TV's set up in lunchrooms.

This was during a practice game with Mexico. Bavaria beer gave away the orange dresses as a promotion for their beer. The girls tried this in S.A. yesterday during the game against denmark and got escorted out of the stadium and were held at the police station for 4 hours!

Meeps, you should have just said football, it's the real football. I played for 10 years and miss it so much. I'm keeping my eye on the World Cup, but it's hard to watch when I'm not playing. Wish it was bigger here. Go USA, my back up is England and Greece since that's part of my background.

Speaking of the beer babes, they were taken from their hotel rooms by the police today and officially arrested. Bavaria paid their bail. They go to court next week and can face up to 6 months in jail! Seems a bit extreme to me.

That was crazy sending the girls to court for wearing orange dresses! The dutch team have a good chance of winning, although i do have an England t-shirt to wear tonight

The dutch are too full of themselves to win lol Although alot of the favorites have failed to produce results so far, so you never know! Maybe england and the Netherlands have a chance

News from FIFA: the dutch beer babes were released after Bavaria and the FIFA reached a financial agreement. According to FIFA, the US has bought more tickets than any other country. Can it be true that soccer is becoming so popular in the US???
