Starting tomorrow I am officially living part time at my mom's. She had a great 3 months since being put on hospice, but she's on the downhill side of her cancer fight now. My sister, brother and I will take turns staying with her for as long as we can take care of her at home.

Argghhh. I have to make an appointment to see the dentist. I may have a cavity; haven’t had one in awhile. Actually, I look forward to getting the ‘gas’; LOVE that stuff; requested to take home a tank of it the last time I went. Back in the day, before ‘gas’, they would have to give me numerous shots to numb my mouth. Nothing on my body numbs easily. When I had my daughter (completely natural), they did (allegedly) give me a shot in the area they were attempting to stitch back up. But I could feel it when they were trying to put stitches in. They thought I was lying about feeling it. They poked; I screamed. They asked me if I wanted to chomp on ice. I told them ‘yes, but only if it was soaking in Jack Daniels’. Labor only took 44 minutes and was a piece of cake; the stitches traumatized me forever. LOL
Better go make that appt. Maybe I’ll get lucky and have a lot of cavities!!!

Mal... sorry about your mom...your both in my prayers! Went through tough times with my mom several years back.... it can wear on you. Take care of yourself too!!!

All I can say right now....... RAIN SUCKS ! Sick to death of it!

Oh, I might add..... computers are great till they break!

My computer crashed once and I thought I had lost everything....including papers for college exams but a programmer friend of mine came over with a nifty little program that found them all!

No getting my files back on the computer! The guy here saved everything before he formatted the hard drive.... but I guess he MISSED that file!

Another note: I still hate rain. Took grandkids camping..... had a horrific storm. Came home, then had to sort through everything that was hastily thrown into the truck so we could get the hell outta there! Everyting was soaked. TENTS DESTROYED! Worst storm I've been through! Lake is flooding, hard is flooded and we haven't been able to mow for at least 3 weeks!

Today, I get to go vote, again. Yay!!! When SC held its primary a couple of weeks ago, many of the candidates didn’t get the 50% plus 1 vote to win. So, the top 2 get a ‘do- over’. The good thing about it is that many voters won’t go vote today. Me and a handful of other voters get to determine who the winner for our party will be. Heeheehee. That thought alone should scare everyone else into voting. Heeheehee
When I get back from voting, I have to clean my little 1’ x 6’ kiddie pool. Ugh. That thing is nasty. Didn’t realize how bad the pond scum was in it til I went out this morning and found 2 ducks and an egret in it. I’m gonna have to fire my pool boy.
