This is a thread where anything you're thinking about, be it upcoming events not covered by Halloween, personal problems that you don't mind sharing, videos that don't fit under the title of Halloween-related, etc.
Keep what you're sharing clean and kid-friendly please.
Basically, this would be our version of Twitter. (Just please don't type like you would on a cell-phone or PDA, I would rather not have to decrypt what you're trying to say.)
So, to begin...
I've been working on my haunt this year. I'm going with the theme of "What would happen if Linus van Pelt had sold his soul to the Devil after years of torment from others regarding his belief in the Great Pumpkin?"

Well, I came up with a scene where there's a small cave with a nest made with Linus' security blanket, an altar dedicated to The Great Pumpkin, a JoL shaped pot over coals out front with Linus' himself after the transformation was complete. For Linus, I'm using Denhaunt's Pumpkin Thief.

sounds very interesting!
I guess I have several things on my mind.
I am thinking of all the work I need to be doing and never seem to get done, or even make a attempt to get done. my basement, so over whelming I need to just start in one small area and just do it!!
also wish we would hear on the house we bid on, a short sale so it is taking a long time.I love this place, so it would be cool if we got it, will be sad if we don't.
also I miss my girl who lives so far away, it isn't getting any easier,
and last but certainly not least, my son worries me so much, he is depressed, can 't find a job, and become a recluse except for a very few people.
sorry if a downer, but these things do weigh on my mind .

No Bethene, not a downer. That's what this thread is for. As for your son, I would recommend helping him get a hobby that he can do to get his mind off finding a job, perhaps during the evening when places are closed. As for the depression, see if he will open up and talk about it even if it's not with you but maybe a therapist. Depression is nothing to take lightly! I have it and I use Halloween as a way to deal with my frustrations...

wow, Monday morning already, the week end goes by way too quickly--- of course at my age, all time flies! LOL!
(thanks the Archivists- I have been trying ,I think I will have to make the appointment myself, and drag him to it-(for a counselor)- and he does love computers, is always fussing with them, the problem is- it is home alone- I have been trying to get him to go across the street from his house and clean the cat cages, (he has mentioned doing it, but with depression it is hard to get motivated to do things)-at a Pet Smart- he does love animals- he has cats so they do keep him company

Cats = nature's answer to just about anything.
I agree about dragging him to a counselor, it may help. Just remember guys don't exactly open up as quickly as girls do about their feelings, it will take a while.
On to a lighter note, it rained here over the weekend and now I have cabin fever. Its too wet to work on anything hauntwise and the library was closed Sat and Sun. I have had cabin fever like you wouldn't believe...
