I got an invite to my 40 year class reunion last week. Hard to believe
it's been 40 years already! Seems like it was just yesterday we were
teenagers coming out to face the world. I have found some of my old
classmates on facebook recently and the first thing I thought was "My God,
we look like our parents!" One thing that makes the reunions sad is when
you find out 20 of our classmates have passed on! I hope I will be lucky
enough to make it to our 50th......We'll be in our 70's then!

The reunion will be on October 23rd from 7 pm to 12 am. My 60th birthday
is two days later on October 25th! How's that for a celebration?

When I saw the title of the thread (The Big 4-0), I thought you meant you were turning 40. Which meant you're old. But now I read it's your 40th reunion, and that means you're REALLY old!!!! just pickin'!!
Hope you have a great time at the reunion. I have never attended one.....
