Just found out today that my daughter who will only be 19 in a couple of weeks is pregnant.

No it is not the worst thing in the world, just poor timing!!

5 years ago when she was going through Chemo we did not know if she would survive or be able to have children.

If we were talking about this in another 5 years I would be thrilled, but not done with school, no job, still living at home.....

    Congrats....I think lol

Oh and by the way, its not being a grandmother that makes you feel old but the idea that you are married to a grandpa

nat, I remember you from back inna day, when the Forum was much smaller, and yes, you ARE way too young to be a Gramma. I feel your pain. I'm 57 and due to be a Grampa in August. My daughter, who went astray, turns 30 in June, way too young to be a mother.

But remember the great Lindford Christie. The Jamaican/English Sprinter who won the Olympic Gold Medal in the 100 M in Barcelona at the age of 32. Four years later, in Atlanta, he qualified for the 100 M final again at age 36. HE WAS A GRANDFATHER!!! What happened? He false-started and was disqualified. It's all downhill from here, Babe!
