    Very interesting indeed... A friend of mine has the book, Sleeping Beauty: Memorial Photography in America

    He is a former funeral worker. He said that the book with victorian death photos is worth around $1,500...

    Seeing it, it was very creepy. Mainly lots of pictures of deceased children, which then, the mortality rate was low as many babies and kids did not have the healthcare and vacinations we have today.

    You have no idea how creepy it is til you actually hold one of these photographs in your own hand. My mother has photographs of her father (died in 1965), and my dad's baby brother (died in the early '20s I believe).

    Looking at those, a very strange feeling of sadness has com over me. creepy indeed.
