    I was lucky to be asked to help decorate downtown San Diego for Mardi Gras.
    We got to make our own props such as hanging vines, a voodoo shack, steamboat smoke stacks with real smoke coming out of them, ect. Here are a few pics. Of coarse it's not Halloween, but it was fun to do and a creative outlet for me. I even got paid to do it

    IMO I think mardi grass is way to over rated but your props look amazing. Love the shack.
    halloween is a super cool holiday.

    wow, Bob! everything looks great! What shade of green did you use in the 4th pic of the vines? was it a color I can pick up at Lowe's?

    That wasn't paint, it was powdered fake moss from a train hobby store. I did find some really cool spray paint colors at Micheal's though
    The yellowish color is from Michael's. They also had some cool green colors

    Love the jazzy 'gator' and the vines are very realistic. How did you do the smoke? Were you BBQ'n crawdads?

    Thanks ! The smoke was just fog machines inside the tubes we used for the smoke stacks. Yum..... crawdads
