That's really sweet FG! A few years ago, we had a couple of strays too and ended up putting out boxes with straw in it for them. Never thought of an electric blanket!
Hope they dont end up putting gravel on the streets here since there is no more salt. Enough gravel on the road as it is with all the potholes from the harsh weather!

Do you have heating? My grandma lived in florida. Indian Rocks Beach. She had airco but no heating!

I do have heat but the electric bill goes sky high!! There are heat strips in the A/C unit and gets very expensive to run!! No furnace like I had in Pa.

Bear in mind us Brits can't handle snow! We're not used to it, and when we get it, it's never really bad. Reports are saying it's at a 20 year worst, but that's probably nothing compared to what you guys get when you get snow!

Well it did cross over the channel so we got even MORE snow....as if we didn't have enough
Luckily it hit by amsterdam and not up north by us....we just got a centimeter or two but the amsterdam area got a good 10-15 centimeters in just a few hours. Enough that schipol was shut down for a large portion of the day.
I love seeing the video footage from the UK....makes me feel not so alone in my slipping and sliding haha

It's true...We don't "do" snow over here.
The country has ground to a virtual halt after "the worst snow for 20 years"...
(I'm sure they said that last year as well).

The TV news is full of it to the exclusion of everything else....like we need to be told it's snowing.

I personally realised that there was something amiss with the weather after my second time of going ar*e over head in the street this morning.
