The west coast is bracing for a line of storms. It's supposed to start raining tonight with wind and rain all the way thru next Friday. They are predicting 3 to 5 inches of rain here and 8 to 10 feet of snow in the mountains.

I'd be getting all of your inflatables out of storage....in case you need a floatation device

Well the promised thaw didn't come this weekend. Yesterday was colder than *bleep* and today when I woke up it had snowed another inch or two. We painted our kitchen this weekend and this was the view out the kitchen window. They are promising temperatures above freezing for the entire week. Yeah, we'll see lol We've been piling the snow up in that corner and also under the window outside. We had just shoveled AGAIN a couple of hours before I took the pic.

That's a pretty picture!

Our thaw is really slow because we are still in the thick fog...blocking out the sun.
