A good friend sent this to me tonight - probably going around the internet - BUT I KNEW it would give all HF fans a chuckle. Police pulled the plug - but I might have changed it with a spotlight on it at night and a Santa cap on his head... Ho Ho EEEEK!ENJOY!

Holiday decorating style with a Forum touch . .
"Good news is that I truly out did myself this year with my Christmas
decorations. The bad news is that I had to take him down after 2 days. I had
more people come screaming up to my house than ever.Great stories. But two
things made me take it down.
First, the cops advised me that it would cause traffic accidents as they
almost wrecked when they drove by.
Second, a 55 year old lady grabbed the 75 pound ladder almost killed herself
putting it against my house and didn't realize it was fake until she climbed
to the top (she was not happy). By the way, she was one of many people who
attempted to do that. My yard couldn't take it either. I have more than a
few tire tracks where people literally drove up my yard."

As I was going up the stair, I saw a man that wasn't there.
He wasn't there again today...Oh how I wish he'd go away.

LOL!
There's a neighbor of my parents in Texas who does this every year and every year they change his 'accident'. I love this idea too...what a way to keep the Halloween spirit alive just a little bit longer. heheh.

Ha! It does look quite authentic, especially with the knocked-over ladder, so I can see why people worried upon seeing it. Though I'd imagine that if the "person in jeopardy" didn't respond to the commotion on the ground, folks would figure it out.

Totally Cool! And that guy, the guy who put that prop up, the ladder on the ground, the string of lights hanging, THAT guy...he is truly "one of US".
And I'll bet his neighbors loved it.Wolfman
