Just a pre-thanksgiving practice run. For any of you that might be into BBQ, or otherwise indirect & inefficient smoke emitting cooking processes.
Here is Some home cured Butt Bacon all sliced out. Ready to package for later use. Yeah.. I know sliced that thick...the In-laws will come back.
Here is the Turkey, Buckboard cured pork loin, {Canadian / Irish Bacon} and some pieces of sliced butt bacon. The Loin looks and tastes like Ham. I am NOT buying ham from the store anymore.

WORD TO THE WISE.... Get off your butt, and rub some bacon cure on a Boston Butt, or a pork loin. Do it NOW, and it will be ready to smoke in time for thanksgiving.
Buckboard Bacon Cure, or Tenderquick + Maple Sugar.. whatever works for you.. Just dont put it off any longer, then cry like a Llorona because you didnt have any on your table for Thanksgiving.
