Interesting...I had never heard that spin on it. Thanks for sharing.
Very cool about the kitty. Post pics.
Hi Wolf,
Knight Templar currently is a "branch" of Freemasonry. As I am new to Freemasonry and only a 3rd degree, I am not "of the Illuminati to my knowledge" at this juncture. My grandfather was involved in the Knights Templar.
Thanks for your feedback.
If you are interested in being involved in Freemasonry, you should talk to friends/associates/family...Freemasons are often someone you know, or admire, and not sure exactly why. Masonic rings are not worn by all members. Freemason are good men, with a moral understanding, ages 19 and up.
How lucky!! Did you know that there can never be more that two Friday the 13th's in a year?
Did you also know that triscadecaphobia is the fear of the number 13?
Have a great week.

And 13 is considered an unlucky number because:
Twelve gods were invited to a banquet at Valhalla. Loki, the Evil One, god of mischief, had been left off the guest list but crashed the party, bringing the total number of attendees to 13. True to character, Loki raised hell by inciting Hod, the blind god of winter, to attack Balder the Good, who was a favorite of the gods. Hod took a spear of mistletoe offered by Loki and obediently hurled it at Balder, killing him instantly. All Valhalla grieved. And although one might take the moral of this story to be "Beware of uninvited guests bearing mistletoe," the Norse themselves apparently concluded that 13 people at a dinner party is just plain bad luck.

Seems everybody has a different story about the first friday the 13th. I heard at least 5 different versions on friday. 13 has always been my lucky number and living just outside of Port dover for most of my life, there was always a huge party on friday the 13th (10 000+ bikers roll into town)
When it comes to holidays for me its right up there with Halloween!

Thursday the 12th has always been far more unlucky than Friday the 13th for me.
As for fraternal organizations, I happen to be the founding member of the Order of the Polish American Prince
