Michael Myers arrested

This was in my local paper today...I removed the address and the girlfriend's name...
Hubby didn't believe me until I showed him the article.

A man threatened to kill his girlfriend with a baseball bat and then choked her until she fell unconscious Thursday night in Dupont, according to charges filed.

Michael S. Myers, 28, of ************, Dupont, is charged with terroristic threats, simple assault, disorderly conduct, and harassment.

Myers was placed in the Luzerne County Correctional Facility, and released Friday morning on $5,000 unsecured bail after video arraignment by Senior Magisterial District Judge Andrew Barilla.

According to arrest papers:

Police were called to Myers' home for a domestic dispute and spoke to Myers. His girlfriend, *********, then emerged and told police that Myers assaulted her and threatened to kill her with a baseball bat if she spoke to police. She said she fled upstairs and Myers followed. He struck her in the face three times and then put his hands around her neck, choking her until she passed out, she told police.

Bruce said she regained consciousness when she heard an officer knocking on the door. Before he answered the door, Myers advised her if she said anything to police, he'd kill her.
