Wanted to let everyone know, that my Mother lost her battle with cancer this morning. She went so quick. My family is still in shock, as I know that I am. I know that her suffering is now over, and that she is in heaven with my older brother that I lost a year and a half ago. The thing that is really strange is my brother passed away on a Friday morning at 11:15 am, and my mother passed away this morning at 11:15 am and today is Friday. I now know that Halloween is a no go for me this year. I honestly just don't have the heart for it now.

I am so sorry for your lost. MMy mother passed away from cancer too.

I am so sad for you. Take time to heal and remember this is the time to surround yourself with family and friends (even anonymous friends on the internet) to help you through your pain.

My sympathy to you and your family. Having lost my father to cancer, I can say that a short time with this disease, regardless of the shock to the family, is a blessing compared to a long drawn out illness. My fahter was initially give 1-2 years but died in only 4 months. Given how sick he was, his quick passing was a blessing. Time will ease your pain.
